Terms and conditions

These terms cover this website and Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro licences. They’re written to be read: if anything is unclear, write to guardrails.support@raqvio.com.
1. About these terms
“Raqvio”, “we” and “us” mean the makers of the Raqvio Agent Guardrails plugin. “You” means the person or business using this website or buying a licence. By using the website, starting a trial or buying a licence, you agree to these terms, our refund policy and our cookie policy.
2. The software and its licence
Raqvio Agent Guardrails is a WordPress plugin. The free version is available on WordPress.org. Raqvio Agent Guardrails and Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+), which gives you the rights that licence describes, including to use the software on any site.
A Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro licence is what you buy from us. For the length of your subscription, it lets you activate Pro on the number of sites in your plan (1, 5 or 50), and gives you Pro updates and support. The GPL applies to the code; the licence key, updates and support are the service we sell.
3. Buying a licence
Orders are processed by Freemius, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Freemius handles payment, invoicing and any sales tax or VAT that applies, and its own terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars and billed yearly.
4. Free trial
Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro comes with a 14-day free trial. No payment details are needed, and nothing is charged when it ends. If you don’t buy a licence, the trial expires and your site goes back to the free version.
5. Renewals and cancellation
Licences renew automatically every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time before your renewal date and you won’t be charged again; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If we change our prices, the new price applies from a renewal only after we’ve told you by email.
6. Refunds
Purchases and renewals come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. The details are in our refund policy.
7. When a licence ends
When a licence expires, is cancelled or is refunded, Pro features stop working and your site runs the free version of Raqvio Agent Guardrails. Your data stays on your site: agents, permissions and the audit log remain, agents beyond the free limit keep being enforced, and policy rules are no longer applied. Any “Require approval” permission is then treated as “Deny”, so nothing is let through that you meant a person to check.
8. Your responsibilities
Raqvio Agent Guardrails helps you control what AI agents do on your site. You stay responsible for:
- your WordPress site, its users and their capabilities, and keeping backups;
- the agents you connect, the credentials you give them, and the permissions and rules you set;
- your accounts with AI providers and other services, including their terms and costs;
- actions you or your agents take — refunds and payments in particular can’t be undone.
Raqvio Agent Guardrails can only govern what runs through the WordPress Abilities API, and it can only block on WordPress 7.1 or newer. It can’t stop actions taken in other ways, such as directly through the database, another plugin, or a user’s own permissions outside the Abilities API.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t use the website or the checkout to break the law, to attack or overload our systems, or to share or resell licence keys beyond the number of sites in your plan.
10. Third-party services
Raqvio Agent Guardrails works with WordPress, WooCommerce, MCP clients, AI providers and payment providers that we don’t control. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for their availability or changes.
11. No warranty
As the GPL states, the software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to make Raqvio Agent Guardrails reliable and test it extensively, but we can’t promise it will be free of errors or suit every site.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes that affect paying customers will be announced by email before they apply to your next renewal.
