Catalog readiness
Agent Guardrails → Readiness (“Catalog readiness”) measures how well AI shopping agents can read your catalog. It needs WooCommerce: the Readiness menu item only appears when WooCommerce is active.
Run a scan
Section titled “Run a scan”Click Re-scan catalog. The scan is read-only and runs in the background, 50 published products at a time, with progress shown as “Scanned N of M products…”. Scans run when you start them; there is no automatic schedule.
Scores
Section titled “Scores”Each published product starts at 100 and loses points for each problem:
| Issue (as shown) | Up to | Rules |
|---|---|---|
| Missing or short description | −15 | No description −15; description and short description together under 150 characters −8 |
| Missing images or alt text | −20 | No image −20; main or gallery image without alt text −5 |
| Missing SKU | −10 | |
| Missing GTIN/MPN/brand | −15 | No GTIN and no MPN −10 (variable products pass if their variations have one); no brand −5 |
| Missing key attributes | −10 | No attributes at all −5 (developers can define required attributes per category for −10) |
| Variations without distinct attributes | −10 | Variations with missing or duplicate attribute combinations |
| Missing price or stock | −10 | No price −7; stock managed but no quantity −3 (grouped and external products are skipped) |
| Title quality | −10 | Under 10 or over 150 characters, all capitals (titles with at least 8 letters), or promotional noise (“!!!”, “best cheap sale”, …) |
GTIN is read from WooCommerce’s own GTIN field and common identifier meta keys used by feed and SEO plugins; brand from the product_brand or pa_brand taxonomy, a “brand” attribute, or brand meta.
The Store score is the average of all product scores: 80 or more is good, 50–79 needs work.
Top issues and products
Section titled “Top issues and products”Top issues lists each problem with the number of affected products; click one to filter the Products table, which lists products worst first with their score and issues.
Product JSON-LD check
Section titled “Product JSON-LD check”Separately from the score, Raqvio Agent Guardrails loads one of your product pages and checks for Product structured data (JSON-LD), which AI and search agents rely on: “The rendered product page contains JSON-LD Product schema.” — or a warning that “Your theme or SEO plugin may be removing it.” It also tells you when the check couldn’t run, for example when no product page could be tested.
Agents and readiness
Section titled “Agents and readiness”The ability raqvio-ag/get-readiness-summary returns the store score and top issues. It requires the Raqvio Agent Guardrails manage capability, so it is meant for trusted administrative tools rather than ordinary agents.
With Pro, the readiness fixer drafts better titles, descriptions and alt text with your own AI provider, and the Merchant Center feed publishes your catalog to Google.
