Google Merchant Center feed

The Google Merchant Center feed card on Agent Guardrails → Readiness (Pro) publishes your catalog as a Google Merchant Center product feed (RSS 2.0 XML with the g: namespace).

Click Enable feed. Raqvio Agent Guardrails generates the feed in the background and shows:

  • Secret feed URL (add it in Merchant Center as a scheduled fetch) — your site address with a secret raqvio_ag_gmc_feed token;
  • “Last generated …: N items, N skipped for missing required data.” and which fields were missing.

In Google Merchant Center, add a product data source with a scheduled fetch from that URL.

  • Once a day, and
  • a few minutes (5) after products are created or updated.

Regenerate now rebuilds it immediately.

Published simple, variable and external products (not those hidden from the catalog). Each variation of a variable product becomes its own item, grouped by item_group_id.

Field Source
id SKU, else parent SKU/ID plus the variation ID, else the product ID
title, description Product name and description (up to 5,000 characters)
link, image_link Product URL and main image
price, sale_price “12.34 USD” format; sale price when on sale
availability in_stock, backorder or out_of_stock
brand, gtin, mpn Same sources as the readiness check
condition always new
identifier_exists no when the product has neither GTIN nor MPN

Products missing a title, description, link, image, price or availability are skipped and counted in “skipped for missing required data”.

  • The URL only works with the secret token (otherwise 404), is marked noindex, nofollow, and returns 503 with a retry hint while the file is first being generated.
  • Rotate secret URL issues a new URL; the old one stops working. Update Merchant Center afterwards.
  • Disable feed deletes the feed file and the token.

The file is stored under wp-content/uploads/raqvio-ag/.
