Free vs Pro
The free edition on WordPress.org is fully functional agent governance, with no limits on agents, abilities or audit entries. Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro is a separate plugin. It adds the policy engine, human approvals, alerts, rollback, a tamper-evident audit log and store-growth tools.

Upgrading to Pro
Section titled “Upgrading to Pro”You can buy Pro or start the free trial from the pricing section on guardrails.raqvio.com, or from inside WordPress:
- Install and activate the free plugin.
- In wp-admin open Agent Guardrails → Upgrade. You can also follow any See Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro link that Raqvio Agent Guardrails shows next to a feature Pro would help with.
- Choose a plan and start the free trial or buy a licence. Checkout and licensing are handled by Freemius, Raqvio Agent Guardrails’s licensing platform.
- Freemius then installs Raqvio Agent Guardrails Pro on your site (or gives you the Pro zip to upload) and activates your licence. If you bought on the website, the licence key and download link arrive by email. Your agents, permissions, audit log and settings stay exactly as they are.
If a Pro licence ends
Section titled “If a Pro licence ends”- Agents, permissions, the kill switch and the audit log keep working exactly as before, with the retention you set.
- Rules stop being evaluated, including spending budgets, and any Require approval permission is treated as deny (“This action requires human approval, which is not available on this site.”). Agents are never silently let through.
- Alerts stop, and new audit entries are no longer sealed. Entries sealed before stay sealed, and sealing resumes from where it stopped when the licence is renewed.
- Pro background jobs (approval expiry, feed generation, audit sealing) are unscheduled, and come back when the licence is renewed.
- Pro settings and data stay in your database, so nothing needs to be set up again after a renewal.
